
BEFORE & AFTERCARE
MICROBLADE PRE-CARE
All brow procedures normally requires multiple treatment sessions. For the best results, clients will be required to return for a touchup appointment. This will take place 6 to 8 weeks after the initial session. Those with oily skin may require an additional touch up.
Please be aware that color intensity will be significantly darker immediately after the first session in a few days, but the color will reduce by 40% 7 to 14 days following the procedure.
Although numbing cream is used during the appointment, sensitivity, or discomfort may still be felt. Skin may be red and or swollen after. Any redness or swelling should be gone within 24 hours of the procedure.
You may wear your normal makeup on the day of your procedure
Please do not drink alcohol or caffeine 24 to 48 hours prior to your appointment
Avoid smoking for at least two weeks prior to your appointment
Please avoid any blood thinners prior to the appointment (if permitted by your doctor)
Please do not shape or wax your brows before the appointment. Your brow artist will shape your brows during the session
No electrolysis fort at least five days before the procedure
Botox, AHA products and retinols should be avoided for two weeks prior and 2 weeks after your appointment
Exfoliating treatments should not be performed within two weeks prior to the procedure
Chemical and leisure peels should be avoided at at least four weeks prior to the procedure
Patients prone to cold, sores, or fever blisters should take an antiviral prior to the appointment
Hormone therapy is can effect pigmentation and or cause sensitivity
Avoid tanning seven days prior to the procedure
MICROBLADE POST-CARE
Please follow these instructions for 14 days after your appointment to improve and prolong the results.
If you don’t follow these instructions, it can greatly affect your results!
You will be given a take home Aquaphor product that will be applied to the treated area at least two times a day. This ointment will be used to keep the treated area moisturize during the healing process.
You may block the area for the first few hours with a clean and damp paper towel to remove any excess fluids, if necessary.
NOTE: Brows will be darker 24 hours following the appointment. This color will fade at least 30 to 40% during the next 14 days
Cleansing: Post care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows. Do not let any water, lotion, soap, or make up touch your eyebrow area during the first 48 hours following the procedure.
After 48 hours you may shower and wash your face (do not harshly scratch or rub the brow area). Please avoid direct water pressure on the brow area. Soaps and lotions may be used on the face, but void any of these products on or near the brow area for at least 14 days.
During the healing process, if you find yourself outside or in a sunny area, please remember to wear large sunglasses or a hat to cover/shade treated brow area.
The following must be avoided during the 14 days after the procedure:
excessive sweating
Swimming
Hot sauna, hot yoga, hot bath, and Jacuzzis
Sun, tanning, salon, tanning, spray, tanning, or any lotions that will affect pigmentation
Any laser or chemical treatments
Any creams containing Retina-A or glycolic acid
Picking, peeling, scratching of the brow area (please avoid scarring or removal of the pigment)
Avoid any debris (such as garage or basement cleaning)
Make up should not be applied directly on the brow area during the healing process
Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing of the wound
Avoid smoking for at least two weeks after your appointment
Touching of the brow area, except for when rinsing and applying post care ointment
Please wash your face carefully around the brow area without getting a lot of water on the treated area. While showering, be sure to avoid any direct water pressure hitting your face.
Flaking can appear during the first seven days post procedure. However, experience has shown that by following these aftercare instructions, these symptoms may quickly disappear.
Contact a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as the following: extreme redness or tenderness at the site, swelling, elevated body temperature, or any colored discharge from the treated area.
FAUX FRECKLES PRE-CARE

FAUX FRECKLES POST-CARE
Please follow these instructions for 7 to 14 days after the procedure to improve and prolong the results.
If you don’t follow these instructions, it can greatly affect your results!
You will be given Aquaphor that will be applied to the treated area daily. This ointment will be used to keep the treated area hydrated during the healing process.
You may block the area for the first few hours they clean and damp to remove any fluids if necessary.
NOTE: Faux Freckles will be darker and slightly larger following the procedure. The color will fade at least 40% in the size will shrink during the next 14 days.
Cleansing:
Faux Freckles postcode is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new freckles and or beauty marks. Don’t let any water, lotion, soap, or make up touch the area during the first 48 hours following the procedure.
During the healing process it is suggested you use only Dial Soap to clean the area and use only Aquaphor products to keep the area hydrated.
The following must be avoided during the 14 days post-procedure:
Wearing any make up
Excessive sweating
Swimming
Hot, sauna, hot yoga, hot bath, and Jacuzzi
Sun, tanning, salon, tanning, spray, tanning, or any lotions that will affect pigmentation
Any laser chemical treatments
Retinol
Picking, peeling or scratching of the area
Drinking alcohol in excess, as it may lead to slow healing
Touching of the area except for when cleaning and applying Aquaphor
